Tumaini (CRT) Controlled Release Technologies are industry experts in the
development, manufacturing  and distribution of mosquito control solutions for
commercial / professional and consumer applications.

Tumaini Controlled Release Technologies Inc., located in Hamilton, ON Canada has developed  several patented products for use in biting fly vector control. These innovative products control the aquatic stages of mosquito development and are effective for up to 6 months requiring only one application for season long mosquito control when used in temperate climates.  Control of mosquitoes present year round in sub-tropical and tropical locations can be achieved with 2-3 applications.

The principals of Tumaini have over 60 years of professional experience in entomology, IVM and the development of vector control products and implementation of IVM programs.

Tumaini  a Swahili word meaning hope, was chosen as our company name to reflect our desire to offer solutions that combat some of the most serious scourges plaguing man such as malaria and dengue fever.

                               Our logo is an Adinkra symbol originating from Ghana, and is one of many that is                                     incorporated into the artwork from this region. It symbolizes the practice of                                               examination and quality control. This symbol stresses the need to strive for the                                       best quality, whether in production of goods or in human endeavors, Tumaini’s                                       goal is to incorporate this philosophy into the manufacture of our products and the                                 services we offer to our customers.
